Computers
Internet Access
There are currently four PCs in the Reference Room and two PCs in the Children's Room that are available for Internet Access. Patrons are limited to thirty minutes at the computer terminal if others are waiting. Please see our Internet Policy for acceptable use.
There is also Wireless Internet Access available in the library. Please ask at the reference desk for assistance.
Word Processing
There is one PC in the Reference Room that offers Microsoft Office 2003.
All Internet and word processing PCs are attached to a network printer. Printing charge is 10¢/page for black & white and 25¢/page for color.
Computer Classes
The Reference Department provides training as needed and is always happy to consider suggestions. Currently we set aside every Monday evening from 7-8 P.M. for drop-in training, where we can work uninterrupted with patrons wishing to explore the internet, learn to search for articles, find books both within and beyond the Minuteman Library Network, and try our various other online databases. We will make every effort to schedule training at a different time for those who cannot come at the regularly scheduled time.
